Land Donated for Naomi’s Village

On June 16, 2023, a grand celebration took place. The Boards of Prosperina Mission Inc. (US) and La Prosperina Foundation (EC), along with many guests and dignitaries, gathered on the future site of Naomi’s Village to witness the formal land donation.

Attendees crossed a temporary bridge and walked up a slight hill to the party tent. That location will eventually be the site of the entry gate and guard house for the complex. Excitement was high as this critical milestone was reached and celebrated!

Ron and Nicki Coil deeded 9 hectares (appox. 22 acres) of the coffee farm for the Village. This clears the way for construction to begin!

The donation was accepted by the President of La Prosperina Foundation, Dr. Lidia Aleonor Moscoso Vera (seated in the accompanying photo).

Following the ceremony, prayers were lifted up to God for the future of Naomi’s Village. All joined in prayer that it would be a place of healing and restoration for the girls and babies who would receive Christ’s love and care. Prayer was also offered for the construction phase, that God would guide the process, protect the workers, and cause His blessing to fall on the place and all who set foot there.

This is just one step in the journey that God is leading us in, to shine the light of the Gospel not only in Jipijapa, but in all of Ecuador as He pours out His Spirit in that country.
